Only use verified suppliers on Alibaba. WHY? Well, all verified suppliers have to pass a list of requirements. This list starts from having an actual warehouse, order capabilities and certain certificates that are checked by third party services to establish they are legitimate companies. Using verified suppliers also sets safety between you and the supplier you are dealing with as if any wrong doing done by the supplier can be rectified by Alibaba.
Buying Samples
Now don't get discouraged by this article, samples are an important step in the process of finding great suppliers. In saying that, finding great suppliers can cost a lot of money. Depending on the garment sample they can cost up to but not limited to $500 usd. Fortunately for myself I have a great supplier but it cost me a lot of shopping around.
Minimum Order Quantity
Every supplier has a MOQ make sure to check this before getting your samples as this could have a dramatic affect on your sample price as well. When talking to the suppliers negotiate payment so you can pay half up front and half on completion of your order. Everything is always up for negotiation as most suppliers just want your service or money , whatever you want to call it.
